Iyengar Yoga Classes
Our centre offers small classes to ensure the student understands the teaching and hence makes progress.
Yoga classes taught in Hamilton East and Raglan Studios. A range of classes from beginner to general classes to experienced classes are offered to more specifically cater for your level. The beginner is eased in more gently and the experienced student is challenged to explore more deeply the body, mind, breath.
Workshops (one day or a whole weekend) and Intensives (daily class over one week) are offered throughout the year to delve more deeply into the postures and breathing and develop greater understanding of Yoga. Encouragement is given to students to read the Yogic texts especially those written by B. K. S., Geeta and Prashant Iyengar to better understand the philosophy and art of Yoga in all its dimensions.
We offer one hour Yoga class in your place of work or at the studio to bring alertness to the body and mind.

Students of Iyengar Yoga, with at least three years experience, can apply to the Iyengar Yoga Centre for teacher training. A number of conditions apply.
